We are pleased to announce real-time adaptive learning app, Mathspace, has joined LearningField as its newest Interactives Partner.
Mathspace is the world’s first maths program that allows students to show every step of their reasoning as they solve a maths question by writing naturally into mobile devices. All written steps are made digital, captured in the cloud and available for students and teachers to review.
Mathspace provides real-time, formative feedback to students as they problem-solve, and data is exported into teacher reports that pinpoint individual and class strengths and weaknesses. This data also drives an adaptive learning engine, which personalises a student’s path through a curriculum.
The service is available to all existing or new LearningField customers as a “bolt-on” extra to those schools who have purchased Mathematics as a core subject.
If schools purchase Mathspace through LearningField, they easily access both products with a single sign on – so there’s no need to log in and out of different systems and remember another username and password. Accounts are also centrally managed, which means everything guaranteed to be set up for day one of Term One 2017, and both services can be paid for with a single bill.
“We’re so pleased to welcome Mathspace to LearningField Interactives. This partnership helps build on our mutual promise to help create a single, focussed learning environment with a range of digital tools that help teachers drive individualised learning,” says LearningField Director, Ben Heuston.
Mathspace CEO and Co-Founder Mohamad Jebara agrees, saying both solutions are aligned in helping to create a more personalised learning experience.
“Now students using LearningField will be able to access our adaptive learning technology quickly and easily. As they work on Mathspace the program can adjust to their individual level and pace. For a student this feels just like a personal tutor. You get coached through every line of working, and through every topic.”
“We’re excited to have a partner that is equally as passionate about using technology to create personalised learning experiences,” he said
